Account

Users

If you are an administrator: how a login is created, what the roles are and what follows after “Create”.

If you are an administrator, in the Account side menu you see “Users”. This screen creates a login to the platform. It does not automatically share a project and does not give rights over other people’s sites.

What is on the screen

  • The “New user” form — name, email, password (min. 10), role.
  • A table — Name, Email, Role (admin / user), number of projects, a “Delete” button.
  • Your own row is marked “you” and cannot be deleted from here.

Creating a colleague step by step

  1. 1
    Open “Users”

From the Account menu. If it is not there — you do not have the administrator role.

  2. 2
    Fill in “New user”

A name for recognition in the team. Email — the exact address they will log in with and that you will share to.

  3. 3
    Set a password (min. 10)

Pass it on through a safe channel. Tell the colleague to change it in Profile after the first login.

  4. 4
    Choose a role

“User” for a normal account. “Administrator” — only if they really need to see all projects, schedules and the wallet.

  5. 5
    Click “Create”

The account appears in the table. Their dashboard is empty until they have their own or a shared project.

  6. 6
    Share the needed projects

From each site: “Share” → “Share for viewing” with the same email. Sharing with a colleague.

  7. 7
    Check with the colleague

They should log in, see the project with the view label and open Help if needed.

Roles on this screen

User
Creates and manages their own projects; sees the ones shared for viewing. Has no Users / Schedules / wallet.
Administrator
Sees all projects and the admin screens. Do not use this role just to give view access to a single client.

Questions & answers

Why does the new user see an empty dashboard?

The account exists but does not have its own project yet and nobody has done “Share for viewing” for it.

Which role should I choose for a client?

“User”, then view sharing of the specific project. Not “Administrator”.

Can a user create an account for themselves?

Not from the public login. Accounts are created here by an administrator (or already exist).

What happens to the projects when a user is deleted?

The login disappears. Their own projects are transferred according to the platform rules to the administrator — do not rely on deletion instead of ending the sharing.
